Hello!
I am an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.
My research examines how differences in organizational performance emerge and persist over time through often-overlooked mechanisms in strategy and entrepreneurship. I approach these questions through two complementary lenses: organizational resources and capabilities and organizational human capital. This work has been recognized with several awards and nominations from leading scholarly associations, including the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society.
I hold a PhD, an MS, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, as well as a BSc in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University. Before pursuing graduate studies, I worked in securities at Goldman Sachs in London, United Kingdom, as an intern, and in real estate and equity research at ARM in Lagos, Nigeria.
