Hello! 

I am an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Isenberg School of Management. I study how managers and entrepreneurs facilitate and impede the growth of their businesses. 

My research won the Glueck Best Paper Award of the Academy of Management's Strategic Management Division in 2022. It was also nominated for Best Paper Award by both the Academy of Management's Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division and the International Corporate Governance Society in 2021. In addition, I received an Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management's Strategic Management Division in 2022.

I earned MBA, MS, and PhD degrees from the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business, and B.Sc. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked in securities at Goldman Sachs in London, United Kingdom, as an intern, and in real estate and equity research at ARM in Lagos, Nigeria.
